Getting Fitted for Custom Musician Earplugs | Part 1
Musicians spend a lot of time thinking about their instruments, amps, pedals, and tone, but protecting our hearing is just as important.
Playing loud music, rehearsing with a band, performing live, and attending concerts can all expose us to potentially damaging sound levels. Unfortunately, hearing protection is something many musicians don't think seriously about until they begin noticing problems.
Getting Custom Earplugs Made
In Part 1 of this series, I visit Connect Hearing in Hamilton, Ontario to get fitted for a new set of custom musician earplugs. I'll take you through the fitting process and show you what's involved in having custom earplugs made.
What's Coming in Part 2?
In Part 2, I'll pick up the finished earplugs, try them out, and share my thoughts on how they perform, whether custom musician earplugs are worth it, and what I'd recommend to other musicians looking to protect their hearing.
This video is not sponsored. I purchased the earplugs myself and was not compensated by Connect Hearing for making this video.
